[08/09/2011] On 8.9.11 I had contacted technical support in order to assist in the development of a new database for our new company.
Allen Zhang had provided exceptional support as well as backing-up our existing database for security.
Allen Zhang not only set-up our new database with ease, he also provided networking support for our team. He synced our QXEpress DB to our Quickbooks DB and stepped me through everything he did in order to provide me with additional knowledge on how QXEpress operated. Overall I give Allen an A++ on the service that he provided. I wish all technical support individuals were as knowledgeable and user friendly as he was this afternoon. Great work Allen! [07/14/2011] I have been trying to get QXmobile setup for our service team and recieved fantastic support from Jeet, who works with the Qxpress technical support team. I bought a used pocket pc and could not get the unit to sync and load software properly. Jeet took the time to have the unit shipped to his office and diagnose problems. After determining that the unit was corrupt, he sent it back to me and began helping me look for a unit that would work best with Qxmobile. Throughout the process he was positive, apologetic, and helpful. Furthermore he communicated continuously via phone, email, and customer service case updates so that I always knew the status of my case. The scheduling software has been great and we just added mapping as well, which is already increasing efficiency and reducing pre-trip preparation times and fuel costs. Qxpress scheduling software and its related applications are a must for any company in the service industry.

[04/19/2011] Nathan and Allan took care of my mapping issue and made my live in the office at my computer a lot easier! After fighting with microsoft for an hour on the phone Nathan gave me to Allan to look at the problem. Allan looked at my database and then called me on the phone. We spent over 30 minutes going over my customer list looking for issues on addresses. Allan found some mistakes, fixed them and now everthing works great! I thank them both for the personal service they gave me and highly recommend Qxpress to anyone in the lawn industry!

[04/09/2011] I must say i am a fan of qxo and i have invested over $2000 in customization of screens to better fit my company and i am a bit frustrated that no one gives any warning when you guys publish platform updates this has happened to me several times when now my screens dont work after update and the ones that do look different than when i had them built. Company should offer some sort of credit for companies having to deal with this i am going on week 2 with no resolution. I am a paying customer not a beta customer although i fee like i am

[03/31/2011] Unless you want your business held hostage for days at a time waiting for tech support to get back to you, don't purchase this. It is nothing but problems and headaches. We are constantly losing a day of office work because Qexpress isn't working again and getting a human on the phone is impossible. They say it is their busy season-well guess what? MINE TOO! I don't have time for all of these problems. This is the third time in 1 month that business has been completely halted by Qxpress. Oh, we have a brand new server, all of our equipment is new, and this is the only software we ever have issues with. Will be switching asap.

[03/24/2011] 1st let me say that your associate Robyn is an absolute gem! Not only was she patient & understanding but she called to check-up on my progress. Wow! Great Customer Service. As far as the software itself: Just love it! I don't know how in the world we ran our company without it for 10 years. Not only that but it has already paid for itself because I am able to take orders for months' down the road without having to ask a customer to email me at the appropriate time. It's a truly fabulous software!

[12/14/2010] This is a ridiculously over priced support plan. I have used a lot of programs and this $75 per hour is not affordable to my business. I am a small business and it is hard enough to make a profit. Most programs I have used have a monthly price for their support plan. As a small business owner I have to look for the most for my money. I will have no other choice but to look for another product that will fill my needs.

[12/13/2010] I have used qxpress for about 5 years now. The program has always had glitches. Usually I have been able to work around the glitches. On some occasions, I have had to call tech support about a glitch I simply can not ignore. I have NEVER had my call immediately answered by tech support. Every time I call, I have had to leave a message and wait hours for someone to call me back. Each time with varying degrees of success solving my issue.
Most recently, I have had a problem with the e-mailing invoices function. As usual, I called tech support and left a message then waited for a call back. I have made numerous calls to tech support about this issue in the past week. Each time I call I talk to someone that really seems to have no idea what to do and they have suggested several different things to try, none of which have addressed the problem.
As of right now, the program is still not working properly. Last contact I had with tech support I was told that a member of the "senior support staff" would contact me to help me resolve this issue. I was told on a Thursday morning that the "senior support staff" member would contact me the following afternoon (Friday). It is now Monday afternoon and I still have not been contacted by this mysterious "senior support member"
If I call their toll-free # and press the sales option, someone answers immediately every time. I feel like since they already have my money, they have no desire to help me with support.

[11/16/2010] We are a small cleaning company in the UK. Initially we were "WOWED" by the ability of the software demo. All seemed to work seamlessly. The real time interface with QBooks were impressive. From the moment we started using the software annoying little glitches were surfacing.We put that to our inexperience. As we got to know the features we noticed that the synchronisation with QBooks 2010 UK was not working, the realtime feature with QBooks, was failing, adding new jobs or customers in QXpress were not reflected in QBooks. The scheduling had failures too but generally works well. When we wanted to generate invoices it constantly told us that we had selected the wrong country, though are preference stting where UK & S. Africa. No invoices would appear, however when selcting the USA the invoices appeared but would not print. then the "sales Tax Code" are an issue too. We contacted support who had look at our issues about 3 days after e-mailing them. They took all the steps we took and could not solve the problems. They quick response was that my QBook database was corrupted and would do nothing more. We had and still have no issues with Qbooks. We contacted QBooks who confirmed that our database was fine, when backing up QB verification run well and we can run reports. We further told QXpress that the problem was that QXpress was not updated to synchronise with QBooks 2008 & 2010 version for the UK. In the upgrade we understand that major changes in the IIF were carried out by QBooks. It's now three weeks since our contact with qXpress and a big silence has followed our last conversation. It reminds us of a dessert scene where the wind is blowing sand in the eyes, oh it's painful to watch.... QXpress is waiting for you to disappear. Oh nearly forgot you get hardly any training neither. Last thing I heard QXpress has been taken over. Good omen?!!

Tech support is awful- they expect you to set up the program by yourself and when you have a problemb, and you CERTAINLY will, they telll you to spend hours sifting throught articles and webinars looking for a needle in a haystack that is the answer to your question.

[09/10/2010] Dissapointed with Qxpress is an understatement. We have been customers since 2006. We started with the beginning software and have been using enterprise for around two years.
We get problem after problem. In fact so many that I think we are getting used to things not working. We are just excepting the issues and try to ignore them. We have brand new computers, a separate server and everthing that qxpress has recommended. Still major issues. Do you feel it is right to wait 1-3 mins to enter a new customer?? or perform a calander summary for 1month it takes 5-10min to calculate...We can't get this fixed... and these are the small issues...I have spent $1000s of dollars in support. We also get not responding problems often...you name it we get it.
If anyone is thinking of using or purchasing this product be very careful. I'm sure if you only have a small amount of customers under 500...it would work great...(maybe) But once you have 5-8 users at the same time...look out its impossible to manage and many issues will arise. Support is horrible unless you complain then they help for a while but your problem may never be solved.
Here's some issues: When you raise your prices and you use there system say 1.5% across the board. Well be careful...the calculation does not work properly. It only does it to some services not all. We have told them about this over a year ago...still no solution, plus we have reminded them several times, but after a while I think they hope we forget or something. (Please fix this qxpress). Or how about this one...If the program does infact increase the customers prices it doesn't increase any of the job items...so i called and said this can't be so...they said its the way the program works...Great answer...So now I have to go through 4000 clients and increase each individual account. (that costs me $2000-3000 or more to do this.) this is wrong...Its like trying to reconcile your books and say oh well we are only out a few hundred...we will soon forget about it....
The list goes on and on...
So now they have qxpress online...I have spoke with them about this and maybe it would work for us...Nope they don't have the zone based aspect on this program, maybe in a year or so is what they said. I truly hope I find a replacement so I am not trapped in qxpress prison, and believe me its hard time.
I have activiely been looking at other products that work with Quickbooks, and I may have found one. We will run a trial version this winter to see if this new third party program will intergrate our business. I'm crossing my fingers...so One day i can call Qxpress and say goodbye forever and thanks for taking 10years from my life in stress and frustation. Paying customers should not be your research and developement. It can affect many lives and jobs when things go wrong.

[07/28/2010] I have been very pleased with Qxpress for the last year an a half. Qxpress makes invoicesing quick and painless, you can select how and when invoices are sent to Quickbooks. I am also able to track cost and my employees time, which transfers to QuickBooks for payroll. If you need more time and less stress, then get Qxpress.

[07/19/2010] We are a full service lawn and landscape service using QXpress Enterprise edition. When we first starting using QX (the platinum edition), the attraction was its seamless integration with QuickBooks. In addition to the syncing with QuickBooks, it is easy to schedule work and obtain useful job costing information. As we continued to work with the software, we discovered that not only was QXpress great scheduling software, but we were able to use it to develop marketing campaigns for our existing client base as well. The level of customization available in the way of custom fields and reports we are able to build has been fantastic. The software is incredibly stable. I consider QXpress a steal and worth every penny!

[06/30/2010] Saves hundreds of hours a year – great seemless integration back and forth with QuickBooks, packed with featrures.
We were a smaller company that got aquired a year ago by a larger company using a different program. After seeing how brutal the program the other company was using, we convinced them to use QX, and merged all their customers with our customers into a new QuickBooks file. I’ll say that the larger customer base made the system slow down signifcantly, but the solution was to upgrade to QX Enterprise, so my advice is that if you are a bigger operation, don’t cheap out, go with Enterprise as it truly is blazingly fast (we’re over 20,000 customers now).
Customer support is often live, not always, in winter it’s hard to get through right away. Always worked with us and get an answer and what I like is that they call us daily until we confirm the probem no longer exists. I can see others complain about the support because it is not free, but we pay to renew service every year.

It has streamlined our business and we have built many more efficient processes around the scheduling attributes. The report funcitionality takes a bit of training and trial and error, but can pull great data. I am very pleased with QX and also there continous updates/upgrades. It is only getting better!

QXpress has certainly grown our business. It has enabled us to manage our contacts very well. But as we have grown so have the problems with QXpress. Speed, networking and various other major issues have been happening frequently. I don't believe the program is that stable. We have spent hours upon hours in support and frustration. Many issues go back years and have still not been resolved. I almost feel trapped as I don't know where to go now or find a alternate program...I would have retraining etc...Major pain...
All I can say is be carefull...when it works its great...but get ready for frustration...Its all the little things that add up and cause problems. I have had hours upon hours throughout our busy season with down time...staff just sitting around until we resolve these issues..Talk about stress. Computers locking etc...We have just installed a new server just for QXpress...Hope this helps...But I won't hold my breath.

[05/12/2010] I have to question any review posted here that gives 5 stars for Support and Service. QxP has been - by far - the worst company we have ever worked with. The reviewer who complained about bad service, and QxP people not even talking to the customer without paying hundreds of dollars, is spot on. We were recently told that in order to even hope for compatibility with QB Pro 2010, we'd have to pay $600 annually for the upgrade protection plan, and even then they could not guarantee that QxP will work with QB Pro 2010.
I am writing this not so much to trash them and drive business away, but with the hope that they take it to heart and turn things around. We've used this program for a year and a half now, with some major, major pains in the beginning. It has been stable since, and it mostly does what we want (routing, scheduling and invoicing), albeit not elegantly. This is not a slick product, and the reports it generates are visually outdated (think 1992-era) and extremely difficult to customize. Perhaps all this has changed in more recent versions than we have.

[04/24/2010] My biggest complaint with this program is the customer service. I have never delt with a company like this. All they want is more money. They will not even talk to me unless I renew my current plan. I asked the guy what would I gain by reneweing my current plan. He could not answer the question because I would not gain anything. They wanted to charge me $300.00 for something that they could not even tell me why I would benfit. The program it self is not too bad. Not great either. I think it could be better. My overall experience is poor becuase of the customer serivce.
