The customer satisfaction surveys are web-based surveys sent to an IDN Developer's customer base. The survey is conducted and administered by an independent third party. Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

[04/03/2009] I wrote a review below and noted a couple of functional gaps. Well now the multi-currency expenses problem has been neatly solved, plus they added a very slick way to submit receipts through fax so the digital image is automatically linked direct to the online expenses form. My consultants love it. Keep 'em coming guys....

We also get compliments from our employees and clients about Virtual Timecard. The customer service is wonderful, and the system has done everything we've ever wanted out of a time and expense system. I highly recommend it!

[02/27/2009] My company uses QBOE and has a distributed workforce of consultants who need web access to submit time and expenses. After some research we went with VTE and have had a very positive experience with the product, but most importantly the post sales support has been outstanding. I've had to call 4 or 5 times for various reasons (most of which have been user error!) and each time my rep has stuck with it to give me a solution within hours.
A couple of shortcomings which we've had to work around though: I want to bill some of my guys out at daily rates and others at hourly - VTE makes me choose one approach for the whole system. I also need multi-currency support (USD and CAD) and that's not (yet) available.
Other than that - it’s a great product, highly flexible, very easy to use and most important to me, very well supported.

[03/10/2008] We've used 2 other major time tracking systems over the last 4 years (in the top 5) listed and Virtual Timecard is far superior. We also evaluated about 10 total, only Virtual Timecard came close. It is significantly more intuitive to configure and modify. The features enabled full automation of invoicing to clients and payables to vendors, etc. Support was professional, available, fast, clear and a pleasure to work with. The workflow is visual and clear...anyone could learn to administrate it for the users.

[02/06/2008] Virtual Timecard has been a blessing in my accounting department. We are a publicly traded company with many complicated accounting requirements. We have a complex cost accounting / accounting structure and need to utilize all job costing and class abilities QuickBooks has to offer in order to manage the financial needs of all end users. We have employees and consultants all over the world and when month end comes around they have already logged into the Virtual Timecard website (anywhere in the world any time of day), entered their time and expenses and I can close the books without this hassle (and without any data entry).
With some of the most complex needs I can imagine Virtual Timecard steps right up to the plate. Virtual Timecard makes our time and expense data collection, approval process, and import to QuickBooks seamless. This software is designed with ALL of the user friendly options needed to setup it up for seamless data collection and import. The tech department is there all the way to assist with the setup and continued maintenance and has even assisted with QuickBooks assistance completely unrelated to their product. I 100% support this product.

[04/18/2007] Look no further for your solution to time card and payroll frustrations. QuickBooks is a powerful tool, and Virtual Timecard harnesses that power with flawless integration and stellar technical support.
No double entry, no more missing time slips. Payroll and billing are completed in minutes, not days, and errors are effectively eliminated. Get back to billable hours without wasting another day schlepping though handwritten time sheets and checking for addition errors.
Virtual Timecard is easy to learn and support is phenomenal. Businesses that are currently sending invoices only once a month will find it so easy with Virtual Timecard that billing can be done twice a month or even weekly. [04/18/2007] Virtual Timecard makes it really easy to track and pay expenses. Our employees and consultants enter their expense reports from anywhere, which saves our admin staff lots of time. No written expense reports are required!
We can customize who must approve the expenses per staff member. And it directly imports into QuickBooks and even checks for errors before the import.
More reliable than other more expensive web tools I have used. Great support for feature enhancement requests as well.

We have streamlined our time reporting and because it is very compatible with QuickBooks, it has made time tracking a simple process. Our employees love it and it works well with our company needs.
