Customer Survey
The customer satisfaction surveys are web-based surveys sent to an IDN Developer's customer base. The survey is conducted and administered by an independent third party. Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

[07/15/2008] AccuPOS looks professional and is easy to use for the store clerks. There are compatibility issues with QuickBooks however. Customer Names are brought back and forth with errors and the data doesn't always transfer to QuickBooks. You can retrieve it later, but it's not seamless. The support team is sympathetic, but not helpful in pairing hardware, and not all printers, drawers and monitors will work with it.

All the answers at my finger tips. I recommend this program. It is easy to set up and use. Training staff took no time.

[02/14/2008] I have used AccuPOS for the last two years. I find it to be a very good system. It is very cost effective. The integration between AccuPOS and QuickBooks is of enormous value. All sales and inventory information are updated immediately. There is no need for duplicate effort in re recording sales into accounting software. This can easily save over an hour per day in time. Sales, Costs, and inventory levels are available at your finger tips. Sales history is of great value. The fact that inventory items are adjusted as sales are put through is good you have up to date inventory amounts that are on hand. The support network that is offered is the best that I have encountered. The technicians are truly know there stuff they can access your computer and solve any problems promptly.

[11/02/2002] I am the owner of 4 Oreck Vacuum stores. I was in need of a program to integrate point of sale and accounting. QuickBooks fit one need and AccuPOS fit the other. The product was very easy to learn and easier to teach. All my employees have found it quick and reliable. We have updated the keys and made sales packages with ease. Color coding the items makes searching quick. I have all of my items on keys including several pages of vacuum parts and supplies listed for easy reference and sale. The simple straight forward design is such a great help. I have not had any major problems and the integration with QuickBooks is great. The reports that are generated are easy to open and give me the information I want. The ability to use and update the customer and item files are key. When I open more locations I will surely buy more copies. I would and have recommended this to others in my industry.

Our accounting and computer skills are weak at best, but AccuPOS has allowed us to have the POS taken care of so that we can concentrate on growing our business--not learning accounting or computer programs. [08/21/2002] We have been using AccuPOS Retail for a year now and can not ask for an easier and more efficient POS Program. We have been a QuickBooks user for three years and the POS works wonderfully with it. We have two retail stores, both of which are retail as well as service oriented. The POS program allows for the ease of retail sales while the end of day report "plops" everything into QuickBooks for our accounting department. Everything is so accurate. The program was easy to install and set up and proved NOT to be a challenge to learn all of its functions. All of our store employees can operate this system. The POS Tech support is awesome!!! You reach a real person when calling, not an automated voice. Everyone has been overly helpful and friendly. We recommend this POS above all others.

[08/08/2002] What can I say about AccuPOS, let me start by saying we have been using an extremely archaic P.O.S. We would have to manually transfer all of our accounting data everyday to input into QuickBooks. After numerous investigative operations into a solution for our problem (we our a very prominent surf shop in Santa Cruz) Anyhow after almost having heart attacks looking at quotes from people that could have been equal to a M Series BMW, we actually had just given up hope because none of the over priced P.O.S. systems we had been checking out COULD NOT interface with QuickBooks. To make a long story short, AccuPOS is hands down the best solution I have seen in the twelve (12) years of being a retailer. I would recommend this program AND its support as the best and easiest I have ever experienced to everyone wanting to eliminate redundant entries and incorporate your accounting into a very easy front end P.O.S. that more than likely will work with all of your peripherals (my receipt printers were about six to seven years old). ACCUPOS RULES!!!!!!!!!

[07/31/2002] I have reviewed many POS systems. I chose AccuPOS because it would not take over my QuickBooks functions. We are a dual company. We have a retail store along with website orders and mail orders. We have used QuickBooks for years and didn't want to alter the way that we do inventory and mail order receipts. AccuPOS was our solution. I set up the system myself and have finally begun to get a handle on my retail inventory while QuickBooks tracks the mail order inventory. It exports easily to QuickBooks and it is great to see what we have sold each day. I highly recommend AccuPOS it is easy for our staff to use and quick.

[07/17/2002] AccuPOS Retail is a lifesaver. I own a busy pet store and I have been using QuickBooks for several years but needed a way to speed things up at the cash register and dreamed of having it something communicate with QuickBooks.
All I needed was a Point Of Sale that was solid, easy and provided decent support (with out having to refinance the house to get someone on the phone).
I tried another popular program, but it did not do what the sales person claimed and certainly was not easy. Money down the drain. When I finally called about AccuPOS Retail I was skeptical about other POS with claims of interfacing with QuickBooks. Having worked with QuickBooks for so long, this old dog didn’t want to learn any new tricks.
What a surprise to find a company that not only REALLY DOES update my QuickBooks with the detailed sale information as claimed, but they also understood my POS needs and helped me select the right hardware the first time. (I wish I had gone with AccuPOS from the start. It would have saved me more money than their system cost!)
The set-up instructions on the CD were easy to follow. Tech Support was always there to answer all of my questions (no matter how stupid). I love the fact the all I need to do is run my Z report and the quantity gets adjusted in QuickBooks! Banking and all my reporting is the same as before, no new tricks to learn since it’s all in QuickBooks.
As a store in a college area, I frequently have staff changes and always training someone new. AccuPOS Retail is easy enough to operate that training time at the front has been greatly reduced.
I highly recommend the AccuPOS Retail system to anyone who wants more freedom of time and still have control.

[07/01/2002] As a Certified QuickBooks Consultant, I researched and tested dozens of point-of-sale programs. The program I chose had to meet 3 basic requirements: (1) Seamless integration with QuickBooks; (2) Easy to learn and to train; (3) Professional customer support. AccuPOS met all 3 hands down.
The seamless integration with QuickBooks is a true value for retailers. They can rest easy that their accounting and inventory processes are accurate.
I found AccuPOS extremely simple to setup and install. The printed instructions walk you through step-by-step.
When I did have a question, the customer support team was always available and pleasant. They truly stand behind their customers.
I am excited about this product and what it can do for my clients. The expertise and customer support that comes with the AccuPOS software is truly "2nd To None".

[04/02/2002] I have been looking for a program that would link my POS stations with my Quick Books Application for over a year now. Every system had it's drawbacks as far as I was concerned. However, this one does it all. I have had this system installed for about 4 months now and am very satisfied with it's performance and it's ease of use. Everything is simplified so that there is no thick instruction manuel you have to refer to. Everything is really just common sense. I was very happy with the ease of instituting this program and going from a manual inventory system to the computer. Everything went smooth and quick. And the technical support is excellent! Everyone there seems to really understand computers and are able to quickly talk you through any issue. I would highly recommend this system to any business who has a need for a versatile and easy-to-use POS program that links up with QuickBooks.

[03/29/2002] Our previous system was so difficult to use, and had no QuickBooks interface, so we had to have a full time bookkeeper on the staff of our winery/tasting room operation. Not anymore! Inventory control is almost automatic, reports take about a minute to generate, with the PC Charge module and a high-speed internet connection, credit card approvals are almost instantaneous. We love it. Technical support is the best I've ever experienced. Buy it.

[03/29/2002] FANTASTIC!!! I have been supporting QuickBooks since the old DOS versions and have been utilizing AccuPOS for several years now to accommodate Point of Sale needs that integrate quickly and easily with QuickBooks for Windows. As our needs have grown, AccuPOS has grown with us!!!
Nothing, however, could have prepared us for the wonderful experience we had last month at one of my biggest clients doing our bi-annual inventory. We purchased and utilized the new AccuCount program and our inventory was completed and updated in QuickBooks in only a day and a half. Previous inventories and reconciliation took at least a week!!! WOW!!!!
My client is thrilled, and I have a great new tool for all my QuickBooks users. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

[03/29/2002] After installing and setting up the AccuPOS Retail (with QuickBooks) for my customers, I have to say that I have never seen or worked with a better product for the retail industry. I have also found this product to be an excellent tool for use with restaurants and catering companies. It is ideal with these types of companies because of the ease of use and how it easily transfers data easily to the QuickBooks software. There is no double entry required, and there is very little room for error.

[03/29/2002] As a certified QuickBooks Advisor, I have been looking for a solution like this for some time. After installing this software for my clients, all I can say is this software does everything it says it will do and more. Once installed and configured to QuickBooks, and with a minimum of optional POS equipment, the user has a fully integrated POS system with full backoffice Accounting, Purchasing, Reciving, and Inventory Control from QuickBooks and Full POS functionality including barcode scanning from AccuPOS. It is a great value and I recommend it highly.
