The first trading partner signs on to Ventalk and uploads their products. They invite the second trading partner who also uploads their products. Ventalk allows you to limit the products and information your trading partner sees.
Vendor and customer products are mapped for easy cross-referencing.
The first trading partner can get near real time inventory status from the second and visa-versa.
Customers can transmit purchase orders to their vendors directly from QuickBooks or using the Ventalk PO entry screen.
The 'Dispatcher' is a software that is installed on your computer and that provides the communication link between Ventalk and QuickBooks.
Using the Dispatcher, product and quantity data is continuously uploaded from QuickBooks to Ventalk so that your trading partners get near real-time data.
Using the Dispatcher a customer trading partner can transmit a purchase order created in QuickBooks to their vendor trading partner. The vendor trading partner can then automatically receive the PO as a invoice or a sales order in their QuickBooks file!
So Ventalk provides 2-way integration between a customer and vendor.
