Blank check stock is more secure than pre-printed stock because it does not include sensitive bank information on the forms. Our check paper includes a variety of security features including toner grip paper and chemically activated stains that appear when a chemical is used to try and alter the check.
PrintBoss security goes beyond the paper to include automatic creation of a positive pay file which gives you’re the maximum protection available against fraud.
PrintBoss gives you the ability to assign permissions to individual users at 22 distinct access points in the PrintBoss program. This feature allows you to specify which users can print checks, print copies, modify form files, edit bank information, and much more.
PrintBoss gives you the ability to create secure text on a check. The secure text could be the amount on the check, the amount in words, the payee, etc. The secure text makes altering the printed document more difficult.
PrintBoss also allows you to print secure signatures, eliminating the need for a manual signature stamp. You can print one signature or multiple signatures based on the bank account and / or dollar amount of the check. There are three levels of security that can be activated with the signature making it more secure than a manual signature stamp. The security levels include an encrypted media that serves as a “key” to print the signature, a matching encryption code embedded in the signature file, and a password can be required to print the signature.

PrintBoss automatically determines the bank account being used to create the check and also knows if the check is for payables or payroll. The proper advice and bank account information is automatically printed for each check.
No longer spend time making copies of checks for your records. PrintBoss includes a mini copy of the check and advice at the top of the page. Tear this portion off for your records & send the original advice & check to your vendor or employee. If you prefer to have an additional copy, PrintBoss will create as many copies as you need & have them printed from any printer or specific printer tray that you select. Additional copies are created with no additional keystrokes; simply print the original check.
Print signatures on checks at the time the check is printed. This signing process eliminates the need to hand sign checks or to use a manual signature stamp. It also makes it easier to implement folding, stuffing and sealing equipment. PrintBoss can print onto blank pressure seal check stock to further reduce the time required to print checks.
Have PrintBoss automatically generate a PDF copy of your checks at the same time as printing the checks. No additional keystrokes are required and you no longer spend time scanning checks for your archives. PrintBoss will put the PDF files in specific vendor or employee folders. The file and path names are based on the payee name and the document number on each check.
The ability to create multiple copies and send the copies to different devices (different printers, email, fax, PDF files) is also available when printing invoices and direct deposit statements.
