Do I need extensive training to learn how to use this tool?
When QDataImport was first tested, not a single user requested a help manual. The tool is driven by a wizard, holding your hands each step of the way.

QuickBooks already has a method to import IIF or Excel files; why would I need this tool?
(1) IIF is an older technology that is prone to data entry errors and overwrites without warning. (2) The Excel import used by QuickBooks does minimal error checking, does not suggest corrections, or allow you to correct errors on the fly. QDataImport does all of this. (3) The QuickBooks import process is not able to connect directly to an ODBC database source like QDataImport. (4) QuickBooks has no list audit trail method to reconcile the data actually imported.

Can I import inventory value with QDataImport?
Yes you can.

Does QDataImport import transactions?
Not in the current version.
