[11/19/2008] It seems like Intuit partners are coming out with some serious tools for the SMB market every month. This week, Intuit partner, SpatialKey, is offering a business intelligence tool called Customer Explorer at Intuit's Workplace. Keep in mind that many of the tools at Workplace are developed by partners. This tool is offered by SpatialKey. Customer Explorer correlates customer data in QuickBooks with geographic trends. The tool is built on Intuit's Cloud Computing Partner Platform. The platform provides an extensive Adobe Flex API and Intuit's SaaS QuickBase database. One of Explorer's highlights is the interactive heat map using MapQuest's street and satellite imagery. The interactive map allows businesses to see balances, job statuses and even perform drill down views of clients.
