Enter Hours and Expenses
At the core of the EYH system are the records of all the work performed. Anyone performing work that will get billed to a client, or spending money that needs to be reimbursed will enter this information into EYH. As you can imagine, the process is incredibly simple.
View Daily and Weekly History
Getting your hours and expenses into the system is one thing, but you probably want to view what you entered. Perhaps you want to verify that it’s all correct, or do a gut-check of how much money you made that week. You can filter information by date, worker, client, project or even on what has been billed or paid.
Managing Clients
One of the first things you do when you start using the EYH System will be to enter your clients in the Manage Clients screen. As you can imagine, your clients are used in almost every screen of the system. The EYH System allows you to store all the necessary basic information about a client as well manage projects for that client.
Managing Workers
The Manage Workers screen is where you add your employees, 1099 consultants, overseas professional, or anyone else who bills hours that you need to charge to a client. You are essentially creating user accounts for everyone who bills hours for you. You set their pay rate so you’ll know exactly how much you owe them when it comes time to do payroll, and you can even set separate bill rates for that worker across different clients. You also set permissions for your workers, as well as create teams, which controls who can adjust and edit hours for other workers.
Billing and Invoicing
The billing tab is where you go when you are ready to bill your clients. You can bill them at any time, on scheduled basis, or whenever your business demands it. The EYH System makes it easy to filter only the hours you want to bill, and it will keep track of exactly what you billed, and when you billed it. The easy-to-use, intuitive drill-down interface let’s you access, with precision-like focus, the individual tasks being billed, so you can pinpoint particular clients, workers, date ranges. You will also get pdf reports, and see breakdowns of revenue, cost, and profitability of each client and worker.
Payroll
The payroll screen is similar to Billing and Invoicing, and has many of the same functions, except, of course, you are deciding which workers to pay, rather than which clients to bill. Similarly, the EYH System uses the same intuitive and powerful filtering system, drill-down interface, and reporting features that allow you to decide exactly which work will be paid, and which will have to wait for the next cycle.
