What do I need to have in order to synchronize my QuickBooks data with a Workplace application?
You must have QuickBooks 2008 or newer (any version except Simple Start). Your system must meet the Minimum System Requirements in the Release Notes. And you must have Java 1.6 or greater.

What QuickBooks objects are synchronized with my Intuit Workplace applications?
Workplace Sync currently synchronizes QuickBooks Customer, Employee, and Vendor objects.

What QuickBooks objects are not synchronized?
Workplace Sync does not currently synchronize object references, custom fields, or any personal data, i.e. credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc. In addition, other objects not supported by the QuickBooks SDK are excluded, including employee payroll information, military status, ethnicity, etc.

What if I modify a Customer object in QuickBooks at the same time that Customer object is updated in my Intuit Workplace application?
QuickBooks is designated as the system of record. Therefore, in the unlikely event that an existing object is modified on both systems, the QuickBooks version will overwrite the changes on Intuit Workplace.
