Do I need purchase any other tools for QReportBuilder to connect to QuickBooks?
No, nothing else to purchase. QReportBuilder is a standalone application and has built-in tools to allow a smooth communication with QuickBooks.

Can I distribute reports I create freely to clients or colleagues?
Yes, you can export the reports to PDF, MS Excel, Word, HTML or rich text formats and distribute them freely! If the client or colleague wants to run the report with the template you created in QReportBuilder they will need a 30 day evaluation copy or registered version of QReportBuilder to run the report against a QuickBooks company file.

Is possible to block certain tables or modules from each employee, I don’t want certain employees to be able to view certain sensitive data?
QReportBuilder follows all the protocols and permissions for users as determined by the administrator. When a user does a refresh of the table data and the user does not have permissions to view that data in QuickBooks, QReportBuilder will not populate the table with the data.

I have a rather large QuickBooks company file and the first time I refreshed the data in QReportBuilder it took quite a long time, will this always be the case with updates?
No, the first time you make a connection to QuickBooks and refresh the data in QReportBuilder with your data, we need to read in all the table data selected in the refresh and after that QReportBuilder only looks at the data that has changed or been added to the QuickBooks company file. If you know the specific tables you will be using for a report(s) you can do a refresh on just those selected tables used for the report(s) for the first time which will decrease the data load time.
