[10/29/2009]  I have worked with many other DMS packages. When it comes to QB interface, it is very rare coming across a company that does a good job interfacing DMS with QB. This is because QB is not well suited for auto industry (or at least that's what I was led to believe). Many people had told me that before. So I was skeptical after my bad experiences dealing with another DMS. However, what I found in DeskManager was quite remarkeable. When I first contacted the company I made them aware of how skeptical I was. They offered me a free Trial of the program with QB interface turned on. They told me that I should use it and ask Tech Support any questions. I spent a whole week looking at the interface from top to bottom. How the chart of accounts works, down to flooring interest on my inventory. They offer 2 methods to use QB. The invoice method (which was the first one they implemented) and the subsequent journal entry method. I like the journal entry method because it's simple and meets my needs better. It is also what they recommend. Overall I found DeskManager exceptionally adaptable with QuickBooks. It certainly has been an amazing experience for me.I found DeskManager to be the best I have seen, and it far excedded my expectations.

[10/08/2009]  This software does not interface with QuickBooks correctly. The chart of accounts does not work for a car lot. The information needed for my accounting comes out all wrong.

QuickBooks Interface doesn't work

[09/04/2009]  The problem with this product was that there is no one to teach you how to set it up or use it. I tried calling their support, but there was no answer. Therefore, I felt it was not worth keeping. I sent them their software back, and was not refunded.
