Do locations and products have to be bar coded?
The locations do not have to be bar coded. The best accuracy is achieved if the products are bar coded, but it is not absolutely necessary.

Is this a batch or an RF system?
It requires RF (WiFi), but only where the user initally builds the pick lists. RF is NOT required thoughout the warehouse. (WiFi is inexpensive and easy to set up if you do not have it.)
