What does Pervasive DataSynch for use with QuickBooks actually do?
Pervasive DataSynch synchronizes your CRM and QuickBooks data automatically. Customers in QuickBooks are sent to CRM as Accounts; Sales Orders, Sales Receipts and Invoices in QuickBooks are sent as Opportunities, and QuickBooks Inventory Items are sent as products. Data flows in both directions so all transactions are reflected in both systems.
Do I have to manually load my data in CRM to get started?
No, DataSynch provided an initial loader step that adds accounts and products; the loaders include easy to use wizards to help match any fuzzy names. This means that years of accounts already loaded in QuickBooks populate your CRM account. How long does it take to install and are there services required?
The product can be installed in minutes by a savvy QuickBooks / Windows users. Pervasive can provide assistance if requested with the initial setup. The charge for the setup fee is $495.00 and is a onetime fee. Documentation is provided for those wanting to set it up themselves.
How often does my data get synchronized?
As often as you like, it is user configurable in 1 hour increments, most customers run the synchronization every 4 hours, or twice a day. If you need to send data immediately there is also an "Send to QuickBooks Now" button that allows on-demand synchronization of priority orders.
