Can State 1 access QuickBooks data on another computer?
If both the QuickBooks data and program are on a different machine than State 1, the unlimited user network version of State 1 is required. If the QuickBooks data is on another machine but accessed through a QuickBooks program on the same machine as State 1, the single user version may be used.

May State 1 be used to report on non general ledger data?
No. State 1 is a financial report writer and accesses balance, activity and budget data from the general ledger.

Does State 1 require a spreadsheet such as Excel?
No. State 1 is a standalone program with a report layout environment like a spreadsheet.
