SmartScan Inventory Count can be used to perform physical counts, cycle counts and audit inventory periodically. Time is saved and mistakes are reduced by scanning bar codes and assigning a count quantity to update QuickBooks Quantity on Hand. Other options for logging the count are available including printing and saving to a file.
Inventory Count can also be used to assign bar codes to your existing items in QuickBooks. Mobile scanning expedites the most time consuming aspect of implementing a bar coding system. An initial inventory count can be performed at the same time the bar codes are being assigned to items.
This is a very simple and basic program designed be easy to use and straight forward in its application.
