BarcodeTP, designed specifically for use with QuickBooks®, provides online receiving, picking and inventory adjustments via your wireless network. For security purposes, the intranet web site is isolated from other directories on your computer. During installation, you install a server application that actually communicates with QuickBooks®. The web site communicates with the server application via Microsoft Message Queuing.
Each item has five custom fields. With BarcodeTP, you name one of these custom fields “Barcode”. If you have already dedicated all five of the custom fields to other purposes, you should not purchase BarcodeTP. Use the “Set Barcode” function to scan the actual product’s barcode into the custom field – eliminating keying errors.
Your site administrator will assign all logins, passwords and preferences. Function restrictions can be customized for each individual user.
