The communications program was designed to create, print or email, and track all your documents and communications regarding your projects. The document and log types include RFIs, Notices, Transmittals, Submittal Log, Letters, Proposals, Waivers and Releases, Insurance and Insurance Notices, Punch Lists, Telephone Log, Meeting Minutes, Correspondence Sent Log, and Correspondence Received Log. Print the documents on plain paper or to your letterhead right on your printer. You can also create your own customized letterhead with your own graphics and text. Also create PDF or RTF files from any document or report and email the file attachments with a click of the mouse. Or you can create MS Word documents using customizable word templates (MS Word required). You can even import customers and vendors from QuickBooks™ Pro or higher (versions 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010) to avoid double entry.
The notices include option types for a bulletin, change in condition, change sketches, non-compliance notice, facsimile, and memorandum. The transmittals include options to indicate what item(s) are being sent, how they are being sent (e.g., attached or under separate cover), and what action is being taken. The submittals allow you to track and log important dates (received, sent to, returned by, & forwarded to) and list items that are being sent. Proposals include proposed change order, change order request, request for proposal, and estimate. Waiver and Release document verbiage is customizable and the formats include both conditional and unconditional as well as progress or final payment options. The Letters capability includes rich text editing to include many word processing features.
The program helps you create, print, and email your documents as well as follow important job information and critical dates pertaining to your projects. You can enter and track the status of your documents with ease. There are additional logs and status reports for you to print.
