Can I use Wage Manager Solution to work with payroll item types of Additions, Deductions, and Company Contributions in addition to Wage Items?
Unfortunately not at this time. Intuit has not yet opened up all areas of the QuickBooks program for developers to work with. It is our goal to include this functionality as soon as SDK functionality permits.

I have downloaded the 'try before you buy' version, and I can't write the wages back to QuickBooks®. Why is that?
We have created the try before you buy version so that you can download the software and see how easy it is to use. However, like most "try before you buy" versions, we have put limitations on its use. In order to write back to QuickBooks, you will need to purchase a license.

When creating a new payroll wage item using Wage Manager, how can I be assured that it will be assigned to the correct account on my Chart of Accounts?
When creating a new payroll wage item there is a drop down Account Selection box, which allows YOU to select which account on y our Chart of Accounts the payroll item is linked to. Because you have full control of this selection, you are assured that the payroll item will be lined correctly. Your Chart of Accounts must be setup before wages can be acquired or written back.

Can I use Wage Manager Solution if I am setting up a new company file and there are no existing payroll items in the employee records?
Yes. Wage Manager Solution is also ideal for this situation. You will, however, still have to go in and add our other payroll item types; such as deductions and company contributions to each record individually.
