The customer satisfaction surveys are web-based surveys sent to an IDN Developer's customer base. The survey is conducted and administered by an independent third party. Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

Capabilities and Flexibility trump others

[07/23/2008] I have worked with many of the other companies that claim that they "integrate seamlessly with Quickbooks." However, the reality is complex and there is no out of the box solution that works for everyone. IA Modules has a great set up that is flexible to our needs. They are willing to work with us to get the exact set up that we need and the system is very flexible. They have templates for simple sites but they can be tweaked to fit your needs. We recommend them after having tried with at least four other companies with the same claims. And, the time saved in having to manually enter orders is huge!

[07/23/2008] We have a retail store and a website. IA Modules makes it easy to upload pictures etc to the website and sync it to Quickbooks.
While there have been a few glitches along the way, for the most part, the immediate service has been quite good. The online tech support makes it easy to troubleshoot problems and minor ones can usually be fixed right away.
I would recommend IAM.

[02/14/2008] We were looking for an ecommerce solution that was fully customizable and offered a seamless integration with QuickBooks Enterprise.
IA Modules met our needs and exceeded our expectations. The design team solved our complicated product costing issue and created custom rollover graphics to our specification. We built our site with almost 2000 SKU's in a record 20 days. Our SEO has improved dramatically. In one case we moved to position three on Google. We like the multi storefront capability that lets us run a wholesale and a retail website from the same database.

It has completely automated our uploading of imagery and items to the web store and allows us to focus on the brick and mortar store while still maintaining a current web store. I strongly recommend it. We have seen a dramatic increase in our sales with the confidence that the inventory reflected on the internet is current and that buyers shop with ease.

[08/03/2007] When we decided to have a web store, having the inventory match between the retail store and web site was paramount. We looked at numerous possible solutions, but once we looked at IAModules the decision was easy.
Set-up:
It has a reasonable startup cost, the hosting was installed quickly and the initial training followed very shortly there after. From a technical stand point we had a web store in less than a week. What prevented us from launching our site was inventory integrity issues (our own doing). We did have some issues with the merchant account setup and integration (not IAModules fault), but to IAModules credit they tirelessly worked with us to get the issues identified and resolved, even camping out on a conference call for an entire morning.
Design/Layout:
IAModules provides a great deal of flexibility in the realm of design and layout, I had little trouble customizing the site to suit our desires.
Technology:
The use of XML and XLS is new to us, but after a little research and education it is not hard to see the advantages it offers us today and in the future. Some of the other solutions we looked at used antiquated or dated technology and/or methodology. Having a solution that we felt confident we would not outgrow or limit us in the future was critical to our long term strategy.
Features:
IAModules has a great set of base features, and is constantly adding new features. Having had some experience with other web stores I was elated when I made a suggestions and saw them developed and implemented. One feature was even done while we chatted, granted this was very basic and I have not doubt that they will polish it in time. This kind of responsiveness is invaluable.
Support:
I have been very happy with the support, both chat and ticket support. The staff is always professional and friendly, never short or condescending. If they don't immediately know the answer, they are always proactive, offering suggestions and ideas, even offering samples, all targeted at finding an answer.
Overall we are very satisfied with IAModules and believe we have selected a product that will continue to serve us well as our site/business grows in both volume and sophistication.

[07/14/2007] Coming new in to retail from 5 years online sales we needed someway to tie online and in-store inventory together. Contacted IA Modules before buying QuickBooks POS and they promised us this was no problem. As we had a website up and working, we only wanted to interface to our POS for inventory, but this turned into a very big deal shortly after we signed up and paid in. Can't go into details as it is far too much to say here. But I will say over the course of 2 months of suffering though total site down time and promise after promise of our website getting done prior to our very expensive ads coming out, we were totally let down with no way to even process orders online. A month or so later we were still not up and we had to fire IAM and go to another source for help -- My son. He put up a fully functional website and we got back online. Still not tied into our stores inventory... Just to scared to give another company the chance to cost us another big chunk of money for nothing. BTW, lost over $1,500.00 directly to IA Modules and not even an apology, let alone a refund.

[05/29/2007] I’m sorry to say that we have to agree with the other dissenter’s review. IA Modules’ program may work well, while we even question that at this point with an unfinished site but their support and communication really stinks. We started with IA Modules in November of 2005 and Neil (owner) promised that they could build us an ecommerce site in about 3 months for the initial program set up charge of $500 plus about $750 for site development as their advertising reads even today. This was to include, as stipulated upfront, a complete ecommerce website as we have no IT Department.
The initial program installation went quickly without any hitches but our explanation was also very hurried. The sole manual for the program consists of a very sketchy online manual that seems to make sense until one tries to follow the instructions explicitly. The first programmer that IAM assigned to our project was very inexperienced and after two month’s work was still working on a banner. He was fired and we had to fight to receive a credit for his useless effort. After a year into this ordeal, we were informed that all of our QuickBooks items had to be redone without sub-categories to eliminate the colons if we wanted to be able to submit to Amazon or any shopping comparison sites. This fact is now added to the online manual. That added about a month’s work of renaming over a thousand items on our part.
After 18 month’s into the project, our website consists solely of a banner and horizontal tabs. In the meantime, our charge card had been charged, without authorization, a total of $1625. Repeated emails asking for justification of their charges are still ignored. We have unfortunately been forced to end our relationship.

Great Integration with QuickBooks POS

[03/21/2007] We wanted to find a webstore that would integrate with QuickBooks POS product. We picked IA Modules for several different reasons including: cost, integration, ongoing maintenance of the site, and the ability to get the site up and working quickly. IA Modules delivered on everything.
This software is tightly integrated with QuickBooks POS. Integration includes creating customer accounts and sales order in POS along with the POS deposit for credit card payments. We created a POS sales order filter that shows all of the open webstore orders. We then "sell" the sales orders creating sales receipts and using the deposits (automatically created when customer pays by credit card) to pay for them. The credit card payments also move over to QuickBooks Pro during the "end of day" process to make depositing the money to your bank account extremely easy. We have 2 merchant accounts, one for POS and one for Pro. The webstore uses the Pro merchant account which was a little confusing at first, but we got a $14/mo service from intuit to get the detail on the deposits making the credit card deposits easy to tie out.
We are able to add or delete product as we want. It's also easy to update prices, pictures and the layout of your store.
If you want something cost effective and easy to manage, this is for you!
