How are orders saved? Payments? Will they be saved in a generic fashion causing me extra work to set things properly or re-enter data? Will phone orders i put in QB appear in online account histories
Orders made in QuickBooks will synch up to the customer's account online as well. Many other carts are not capable of this. Orders can be saved as SalesOrders, Invoices, or Pending Invoices. You can fully or partially fullfil and bill orders as needed. Unlike most carts, ordered items are saved as the proper QuickBooks item, not a generic item like many carts, so your inventory stays accurate. Shoppers can save cards to QB you can run later or use QB Terms you have given them!

How are customers handled? Will changes in QuickBooks flow to the store and visa versa?
Unlike most solutions, Customers are synchronized both ways between the store and QuickBooks. That means if you add customers in QB, or change their info in QuickBooks, that will flow up to the store and visa versa. We also save Credit Card info to QuickBooks for future billing and reference purposes. Also note that our cart takes many mroe steps to ensure you do not have constant duplicate customer synch issues, issues which plague many other carts causing constant headache.
