Customer Survey
The customer satisfaction surveys are web-based surveys sent to an IDN Developer's customer base. The survey is conducted and administered by an independent third party. Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

[07/16/2008] I think it’s a fantastic system, and I’m probably using only 25 percent of what I should be using. Overall, it’s been phenomenal as far as ease of use. Most contractors use some form of spreadsheet for estimating and Word for documents, so the time to training somebody is cut down quite a bit. The integration with QuickBooks is good, and it works really well for me. Other accountants that I know are amazed at this system, especially with the ease of integration with QuickBooks.

[07/16/2008] With over 30 years experience as a contractor in the construction industry and about the same experience with computers, way before Windows, I have always combined the two in my livelihood. Though I had enough savvy to design a fairly automatic spread sheet for estimating I was not a programmer. Hence I was constantly trying out new construction software, looking for the time savings and integration I knew was possible. As a small businessman the majority of my time is consumed onsite overseeing the jobs. Therefore my time in the office must be as productive as possible. When I discovered UDA ConstructionSuite and tried it out I knew I found the program that was right for me. It would streamline and put many aspects of a job in one place. Each new upgrade has brought significant improvements; I still haven't fully utilized the power of this program.

[07/16/2008] The Team at Ferrell Barker design/build would like to express our appreciation, and satisfaction, of the UDA software and the people that support it.
Over my past 20 years in the construction industry, I have found that systems are as good as the people that surround and support it.
UDA has, in my opinion, the best support of any software system that we have worked with.
The flexibility and integration of this software with Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks, communicates strength and long term commitments that we, as a company, appreciate.
In the past we have made small suggestions for product improvements, they were taken seriously, and within a very short time implemented, and for that we are very grateful.
This program allows for small companies, as well as large corporate companies, to take full advantage of all the systems tools.
Most importantly, I truly believe the team at UDA understands that software should be written with the end user in mind (our customer), meaning the reporting systems must have sales and presentation emphasis, rather than just internal operational applications, for after all, at the end of the day, we are all working together with the same customer.

[06/20/2008] After much searching for a product that could handle my construction estimating needs as well as financial integration for my company, I have arrived at UDA ConstructionSuite with QuickBooks Integration. I find ConstructionSuite’s interface powerful and easy to learn and use. It possesses most all of the features that I've been searching for and continues to improve. I love the modern interface that stays current with Microsoft Office development. The 2007 product, in my opinion, looks better and outperforms everything I've tried (and I've tried many). I can't say enough about UDA Technologies’ support and service; from the first day, my calls were answered by friendly, professional people, who have given me support, training, and even access to high-level technicians and development experts. UDA continues to listen to and consider my feature requests and feedback. I'm very excited about the QuickBooks integration feature in ConstructionSuite. It enables me to do my job estimating and then export my estimates to my bookkeeper. It's crucial to my business to be able to receive actuals back into ConstructionSuite and examine my cost variance. I also enjoy having the QuickBooks transaction history right in front of me. I’m looking forward to Chief Architect integration, more cost book flexibility, and perhaps some specially tailored financial reports that I know could be imported from QuickBooks data such as draw requests, change orders and customer balance sheets. I appreciate the cutting-edge development of this product, and I truly see it as the best value out there for my industry.

[06/10/2008] UDA Construction Suite has changed the way we do business. We are a combination of a two year old Construction company and a twelve year old Architectural firm. We use QuickBooks extensively to run both companies, and while this helps the financial controls of projects up to a point, we found project managers spending inordinate amounts of time preparing invoices and pay applications, managing change orders and in general, knowing the financial state of their projects. After extensive research into software options costing upwards of $20,000 in hard costs alone, and 6 months of training and soft costs, we found UDA Construction Suite. The estimating into billing function makes the task of managing a construction project less daunting and more profitable. We have seen an ROI of 6 months for this product in time spent providing billing to clients. The following features are invaluable -
1. Estimating – Creates Estimate in QuickBooks.
2. Pay Apps – Creates pay applications from invoices in QuickBooks.
3. Two way financial data exchange by project.
This is not to say there are not issues. The software is exchanging extensive information back and forth with QuickBooks and errors are an issue. That being said, they normally take my support call the first time I call, and have been very clear in fixing issues and problems immediately. In time, this product will become the standard for small to mid-range Construction companies.
