The final deciding factors we looked at when choosing ACCTivate! was its affordability. The software has been an affordable solution for us because it has given us more than we expected at a price that works well for a small company.

A bigger and better solution

[10/27/2011]  After doing a search for a “bigger and better” solution, we came across ACCTivate! and another inventory management solution on the Intuit Marketplace. We did both demos and clearly decided that ACCTivate! was the best way to go. The deciding factor was ACCTivate!’s reporting capabilities that allow for customization of reports with Crystal Reports®, which has helped us out a ton.

[10/20/2011]  After researching different options, ACCTivate! worked best for us because of its ability to provide an all-in-one system that streamlines everything. With our previous system there was a lot of room for human error, ACCTivate! eliminates a lot of that human error. Without ACCTivate!, there is no way we would be able to run our company, if we were still going through Access or Excel, there would be no way to manage the company.

We use the dashboard feature to monitor many of our daily activities including tracking sales, past invoices and warehouse inventory levels. The dashboard allows us to compare the information that we need at a quicker pace.

[10/18/2011]  Our main concern was finding a system that would not only manage our inventory, but would also be able to combine our other daily tasks into one as well. After nine months of research, I finally decided to go with ACCTivate!. I find it to be the better fit for our business because of its compatibility with QuickBooks and easy transition. We are currently moving to a new platform for ecommerce and as our company continue to grow, ACCTivate! is helping us to transition into a better ecommerce experience for our customers. ACCTivate! has created some fantastic tools for syncing with our ecommerce site. We are very excited about that for both perspectives of our deals as well as our retail customers because it affords us so many ways to service both segments of that market. The inventory capabilities of ACCTivate! has also helped us with a variety of areas, including customer issues. I find the system to be very robust and efficient, we like the tools where you can have reminders. We are very happy with the abilities of the inventory management system.

A sophisticated inventory system

[10/18/2011]  ACCTivate! gives us a more sophisticated inventory system. We find it to be a complimentary addition to QuickBooks in terms of a detailed inventory management on the side. I like that our employees can get the most current status on inventory and sales orders. We also feel that we have found a system that manages our consignment warehouses more efficiently than our previous system. Overall I find ACCTivate! to be a very effective system for our daily business needs.

Our decision to choose ACCTivate! was based on affordability, features and a similar user experience to our previous software. As our inventory grew, we needed a system that would allow us to integrate to eCommerce. We loved the fact that ACCTivate! was similar to our previous system and was based on the Microsoft SQL database .

Two of the main benefits that we have experienced while using ACCTivate! are a system that is able to manage our daily needs and the use of the Kitting module. One of the main reasons that I choose ACCTivate! was because I found the system to be highly intelligent, but simple to use. ACCTivate! is fast and allows us to do certain things within the company that we could not do before, such as having instant access to product availability and inventory levels in the Product Information window.

While searching online, we found testimonials that attest to that about ACCTivate!. It also has capabilities that work great with our company. As a not-for-profit organization we need to track an array of donated goods as they come and go. We use the sales order and reporting features to accurately manage our inventory. The lot tracking helps our food processing comply with FDA regulations. All in all, that track record has proven itself.

An inventory management system with multiple capabilities

[07/14/2010]  We wanted to do things with our inventory that QuickBooks at the time couldn't handle, so we chose to move forward with an inventory management system. We went through a thorough process of evaluation of different packages and ACCTivate! had the solution that we were looking for. It had the functionality our growth demanded and allowed us to synchronize with our existing QuickBooks data. The tight integration to QuickBooks was important to us because we were looking for a total solution that would keep us from having to rekey information and certainly that has helped us. Initially, we chose ACCTivate! for the inventory management, sales order management, purchasing management and reporting solutions, but now utilize the Customer Relationship Management, EDI, eCommerce, Drop Ship Purchasing Wizard, Business Activity Management, Kitting and Multiple Location control solutions as well. The array of standard and optional features helps us manage operations within our business. We run one physical warehouse and multiple virtual warehouses with the multiple warehouse and location management functionality. Transportation serves as a warehouse location as a virtual warehouse for en route inventory, including international shipments from our overseas manufacturer. The drop ship functionality is amazing. It streamlines the drop shipping process for us. Business Activity Management is great for tracking every customer support call and later running reports for management. The kitting functionality has allowed us to easily manage on demand product kits for our direct fulfillment. The Internet Shopping Cart Interface connects ACCTivate! to our eCommerce website and easily imports orders from our site into the system as ACCTivate! sales orders. ACCTivate!’s fully integrated and automated EDI solution with TrueCommerce is invaluable when dealing with high volume orders and 30,000 stores throughout the country. We are required to use EDI to do business with most of these stores. Based on our experience with ACCTivate! and the customer support team, we highly recommend it to other small businesses.

[07/13/2010]  Before ACCTivate! we often ran into issues with managing our inventory using spreadsheets. Information was often lost and we were double booking orders. We soon realized we needed a business and inventory management system that could handle our growth and maintain a small staff. After looking at several systems, ACCTivate! had the deepest functionality, most robust number of modules and the best value. ACCTivate! has also allowed us to manage a virtual company for our employees which are in locations ranging from Connecticut to Florida. Despite the distance between our employees, ACCTivate! enables us to keep everyone on the same page and be more productive. We use ACCTivate!’s Customer Relationship Management, Warehousing, Purchase Management, EDI, Business Activity Management, Shipping Workstation Interface and Reporting. Just from top to bottom I think it’s been a tremendous help for us. If there is ever any problem, the support team is always very quick on responding and helping us out and that’s been the biggest ease off our shoulders. We believed this when we made the purchasing decision and we certainly believe it much more so today, that for the price it’s incredibly robust and certainly would handle the information that we needed to manage, both at the time that we purchased it and we also felt like it would be able to grow with us to a fairly significant level of business on our side.
