Label Link acts as a "bridge" between QuickBooks and your labeling software. Most barcode label creation programs are not able to easily "talk" to QuickBooks. In order to create a label using QuickBooks as your data source, you need to export the label information to a spreadsheet or database or flat file. If the labeling program does "talk" to QuickBooks, it is often slow or cumbersome to work with.
Label Link was designed to make using your barcode labeling software with QuickBooks quick and easy! First you create the label template in your label creation software. Once the label(s) has been created, Label Link is able to connect the label with your QuickBooks Item List either directly or through Invoices, Sales Orders or Purchase Orders that you have created in QuickBooks. With this link you can print the labels directly, no more exporting! Just enter the quantity for each item you would like to print and then print your labels. If you use a QuickBooks Invoice, Sales Order or Purchase Order as your source, the Items and number of copies will automatically be printed in your labeling software (i.e. if the Purchase Order you select has 2 line items each with a quantity of 5 units, 10 labels will be printed - 5 for line one of the Purchase Order and 5 for line 2 of the Purchase Order).
