Mobile QuickBooks -- Perfect for me

[03/23/2009] MobileBiz is working great for our company. We've got our employees using it to create invoices and have them entered into QuickBooks when they return to the office. Really great.
The Dwyertech team has been great to work with too. We've discussed customizations to the program with them and they've been very responsive to discussing that.

[05/04/2006] This product is great for keeping track of things while away from QuickBooks. Definitely a time saver for people who want to use a Pocket PC to automate QuickBooks.
The setup was really easy and it just connects automatically to my QuickBooks company file each time I sync my device. The interface on the device is also really nice and easy to get used to. For the price, this is a great add on.

[02/07/2006] Like the other reviewers, I purchased this product hoping to synch my Pocket PC with QuickBooks on my Desktop. This is what it is advertised to be able to do. No such luck. The software would not recognize my device. It crashed my computer. It interfered with my ActiveSynch. And good luck trying to get in touch with Joe Dwyer or any kind of tech support from Dwyertech. He apparently either doesn't exist any more or doesn't care about his customers once he has their money. Every phone number for him has been cancelled. Phone numbers I had to find on my own, by the way, by searching for him online, as there is no number listed on his website. The program never worked, and with no response to multiple e-mails to his website and to his personal e-mail, I can only conclude that this must be a scam. Intuit should remove him from their website and actually warn customers not to use his product. Again, I can only conclude that this is a scam to get your money based on a faulty program with no tech support, no solutions, and no way to contact Mr. Dwyer. Searching the internet I find his product advertised in many magazines for computer users. You would think he would be able to entertain the idea of contacting his unhappy customers. I am not the only review here complaining about his tech support. Save your money and try something else.
By the way, I would love to remove this review if I ever hear from Mr. Dwyer with a fix, my money back, or an explanation!

[11/20/2005] I started out looking for an application that would work with QuickBooks and a PocketPC similar to how Pocket Money works with MS Money. MobileBiz has features to enable you to remotely enter expense transactions and see balances in the Chart of Accounts, but the product doesn’t work properly. I found that MobileBiz caused ActiveSync to crash at times. After a few attempts I was able to initially sync my mobile device with QuickBooks. Afterwards however, I was never able to get additional transactions to sync properly… regardless of whether they were entered on the PocketPC or directly into QuickBooks. I emailed customer support and never got a response.

[11/24/2004] After weeks of trying to install this product I was unsuccessful in getting it to work. Despite numerous emails to their customer support line, they remained unresponsive. Though a smaller trial QuickBooks file seems to work, my larger historical file does not. Unless this product works immediately for you, I do not recommend pursuing making it work.
