[05/05/2009]  Our company has employees nationwide so we needed to find an internet based Time & Attendance package that was user friendly and included HR features as well. After reviewing several T&A packages, I found GHG's Time & Attendance software to be the best package. The monthly rates are reasonable and the features available with this package solved our Payroll and HR issues. Our setup time was quick and GHG's communication was continuous throughout the process. GHG's customer support is outstanding. Several weeks into using the system, our employees, managers, and client managers are using GHG's T&A software without a problem. No more payroll issues with unapproved timesheets, etc. And HR is able to track accrued time off, PTO, etc. I would highly recommend using GHG's user-friendly Time & Attendance software.

[04/30/2009]  I was referred to GHG Corporation at a conference. Their electronic Employee Timesheet Management System was selected for several reasons: First, were the import/export capabilities with QuickBooks. This function eliminated hours from payroll processing. Second, was the ability to make DCAA compliance simpler, by having everything online in a database. And finally, the ease of implementation at a great value. The system has leave balance management, is capable of offering reporting to help aide in project management, as well as many other functions. The Technical Support Group is very knowledgeable. Their response to questions is both timely and effective.

[04/27/2009]  I recently had trouble uploading my online pay stubs on the site. I called the GHG Technical Support and received fast, professional service. We had recently updated some reports in QuickBooks and had missed a step. The Technical support group identified the problem quickly and had us "fixed" in a very short time. I have been extremely impressed with the technical support team even though I have only needed their help a few times. This product has helped us to help our employees!

[04/27/2009]  One of the most important things to me as a manager (with the responsibilities of managing other employees’ timesheet) is to have sufficient support and a reliable database to help me. GHG has given me that. I know when I come across an issue, or I can not solve an issue on my own, I can rely on Teresa Ivory (My GHG support rep) to help and work hard to help me!

[05/21/2008]  The system times out too quickly. There should be a warning issued when the user hits Main and does not first save entries, since this is a 'loss of data' condition. The display does not work correctly in FireFox. The display width also is limited in Internet Explorer, limiting the view of hourly entry fields. It is annoying not being able to see a complete entry period even on my extra wide screen. It would be helpful to be able to resize the other fields - hint: an AJAX implementation would help. Entry rows cannot be set up beforehand, which makes for a laborious process and also continuous lack of familiarity with the order in which entry rows are displayed, since they will change. Requests for access to certain accounts (ie, entry rows) must be routed separately through email - it would be helpful if requests could be queued within the system and provisional access be given, since I sometimes have to wait days for approval and enablement to some accounts, and thus have to keep two sets of records. Other people don't seem to have this problem, but when I log in I am constantly getting page not found errors. Since no other web site give me this trouble, I think the blame lies with GHG, although it has not been widespread. New releases have been very slow in coming.

[05/05/2008]  JES Tech is continually seeking ways to deliver new and improved methods to make tracking time easier and more flexible; the implementation of the electronic Time Sheet Management Solution (eTSMS) has made this possible. The Internet based time sheet system has provided our employees a simple, accurate and user friendly way of recording their hours, daily. JES Tech has used the eTSMS product 4 plus years and is very pleased with the investment. In the initial research, we were interested in the time and attendance section, only. After the demo, eTSMS offered so much more (i.e. leave balances, recruiting and staffing). The setup was seamless and with only one test payroll, the system was up and running. Our payroll process has decreased from days to hours, leaving faxing timesheets in the past. After installation of the eTSMS, the phone calls from the employees requesting leave balances totally ceased. GHG’s support staff has been courteous and knowledgeable about their tool. To anyone using paper timesheets, eTSMS will end your nightmare.

[05/05/2008]  This product is a very user-friendly product that is awesome for companies with employees that work in many different locations and/or work odd hours and need to access their timesheets, etc. at all times of the day or night from any location. Any company large or small can use this product and cut their payroll processes in half and save money in the meantime. Employees can sign and submit their timesheets electronically and not have to print and/or fax them to anywhere, just hit submit and their manager can approve it and click submit and then Accounting can do their payroll thing with it. This allows employees to get their real job completed and not have to worry about hand delivering paperwork from one place to 3 or 4 others.

Is NOT "Seamless Intergration" as Advertised

[03/22/2008]  I worked with the 'back office' side of this product and I do not recommend it. We signed up with GHG in September and it took three months to get our company setup. When uploading new employees from QuickBooks, you are required to MANUALLY MANIPULATE data (remove dashes from Social Security Numbers, etc.) which is NOT 'seamless integration'. Uploading pay stubs online is entirely too many steps and data technical. They do not have a utility to help convert the data into their system. But, the worse experience we had and the reason we were sold on this product was the ability to offer Forms W-2 online to our 300 employees. We promoted the online W-2 feature to our employees and then we were never able to provide it. During this process, GHG had posted our incomplete and inaccurate Forms W-2 online more than once and we had to do 'damage control'. The forms had no state data. We had to print and mail W2's at the last minute and were not informed by GHG until AFTER the January 31st deadline that they could not handle multi-state employee W-2s. The customer service received during this time was from a software programmer and it was insulting. When asked to speak to Management numerous times, we were denied. I have worked with numerous integrated programs with QuickBooks vendors over the past 20 years in the public accounting industry and I do not recommend this vendor.
