[04/22/2009] This program does not perform seamlessly, accurately or in a straightforward manner. It has increased, rather than decreased our accounting costs. Their customer service is sorely lacking and their interest in updating or fixing problems with the current version is nonexistent. I would not recommend this product to anyone, anywhere at anytime. We spent a lot of time and money trying to make this program work.

[11/29/2005] Alliance/MFG is the ideal manufacturing system for small to mid-size manufacturing company. From Product Master to Invoicing, the manufacturing life cycle of your product is planned, monitored, and managed effectively through Alliance/MFG. It does not have all the “bells & whistle” that Baan, Oracle, or PRMS can offer (which is not needed most of the time), but what it has is the core requirements for any manufacturing business. What it also has is the short, low cost migration and implementation period. This is done through the no nonsense “Supply and Demand” approach of the Manufacturing Process by the system design. Users, who has no experienced in manufacturing system, can be an expert in a short time with easy to understand menus. Being in manufacturing industry for more than 20 years, what I really like about Alliance/MFG system is that it is written for manufacturers. The system gives me the data that I need to effectively manage my plant without the complication of unnecessary modules. Just by itself, Alliance/MFG is truly a manufacturing friendly system. However, where it is lacking is the financial module that the “bean counter” requires. This is where Intuit QuickBooks saves the day. The marriage of the two systems is dynamite. The manufacturing transactions that happen in Alliance/MFG system turn into a financial data in QuickBooks; that one can dissect and make better financial decision. The two complimenting system is unbeatable in achieving a complete Enterprise System for your manufacturing business.
