Is SMS NTEP certified?
Yes-This is the most important question. SMS is certified by the United States Department of Commerce, Division of Weights and Measures. This means you can rest in its accuracy & legal use for trade.

Is there a limit to the number of Truck, Customers, Materials, Tickets and so on?
No - SMS data is stored in either a Pervasive SQL or MS-SQL database. There are no limitations other than physical disk space and even that is spanable across hard drives.

Is SMS limited in the different types of weight indicators it can interface to?
No - SMS reads weight via ScaleCOM(R) which uses USI (Universal Scale Interface) technology. If an indicator can talk, we can listen. ScaleCOM also can be used to control indicators such as zeroing.

Is SMS capable of working in a multiple scale environment?
Yes-SMS can interface to 9 scales on a PC and it is unlimited on a network. Since SMS can interface via IP, the limitation on a network is the number of available addresses.
