Customer Survey
The customer satisfaction surveys are web-based surveys sent to an IDN Developer's customer base. The survey is conducted and administered by an independent third party. Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

[05/15/2009] We are a small trucking company with all owner operators (20) and a brokerage. We have used Prophesy with QuickBooks interface for 8 years and never have lost one bit of data. Once integration has been setup we never have had to change it. Prophesy support has always come though in my 8 years of prophesy with QuickBooks we only have had to call with minor bugs that get fixed in a very timely manner. We get the best of both worlds Custom Trucking Software plus the power of QuickBooks. I would defiantly recommend this product to all small to medium size trucking companies.

[03/17/2009] Prophesy Software has allowed us the ability to integrate with Quick Books. With the interface, all our accounts can be cross referenced in dispatch and accounting.
We are able to save our rates and quotes in this system. This saves dispatch and brokers time which allows for better accuracy and more efficiency.

[12/01/2008] We purchased Prophesy 2 years ago & are currently looking for a replacement program. The software requires too many modifications to QuickBooks that interfere with the other side of our business currently running in QuickBooks. The software is "OK" at best for being user friendly. Support is not real expedient either for returning phone calls. On value it is only worth about 1/4 of what was paid. I must say I would not recommend this product to anyone using QuickBooks.

[05/26/2004] We have been in business since 1984. We run 23 trucks nationwide and have been a Prophesy Dispatch user since January 2003.
Pricing was a big factor in why we chose Prophesy. It simply has the most features for your purchase dollar. There were other dispatch products out there that were cheaper, but they just didn’t have the power or capabilities that we needed. Prophesy has all of the features we need and even some we haven’t quite grown into yet. They are priced very reasonably compared to the other strong dispatch programs out there.
The software saves us a lot of time especially with invoicing and billing entry. We are able to get our paperwork done and out the door quickly. The interface between Prophesy and QuickBooks Pro is very smooth; our information moves easily from one to the other, saving us a lot of time. The software is very easy to use and we have always had an easy time getting new employees up and running quickly.
I would certainly recommend this product.

[03/03/2004] We are a flatbed operation based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee hauling mostly steel from processors to manufacturers. We currently operate 32 trucks and have been in business for 7 ½ years.
Before using Prophesy Dispatch we used to handle our dispatching with a set of Excel spreadsheets, entering the data multiple times from one sheet to the other.
As our company grew, we felt the need to upgrade to a real Dispatch system and we initially chose Prophesy because it would work with QuickBooks, which we were used to using. (We’ve been QuickBooks users since day one).
Since we have been using Prophesy, we have been able to do things much faster. We do a better job of tracking our delivery and pickup times, handling payroll, you name it. I’d say that it cuts our processing time at least in half. Even Accounts Receivable has been simplified quite a bit. We have the load information right there on the screen, all we have to do is enter the pieces, the weight, and the customer’s bill of lading number and we’re done, easy as that. Prophesy Dispatch in general has allowed us to be much more productive.
The Prophesy Support people are wonderful. We rarely have problems, but when we have an occasional snafu, we get in touch with Brian. He has always been great. I just get in touch with him and he gets me the information right away. That’s usually all it takes to resolve whatever I need. They’re always right on top of things.
I’ve recommended this software to other trucking companies before and certainly would again.

[02/20/2004] We are a family-owned trucking company that has been around for 80 years. We run 22 trucks nationwide and haul everything from computer parts to medical supplies. In 2001 we started using Prophesy’s Dispatch software, and in 2002 upgraded to their version that integrates with QuickBooks. It has been a great asset to our company.
The process between the two programs is very streamlined, we finalize a trip in Dispatch and all of the information transfers right over to the QuickBooks software where our Accounts Receivable person handles it. It’s nice to have the 2 processes tied together, there’s no need to do extra work since all of the information is right there where you need it.
Setup of the software went smoothly, I worked with Miriam in Prophesy’s Training Department, she was very patient and everything just fell into place. I was able to do all of the setup myself even though a lot of the terminology was very new to me. It was easy. All of the Prophesy documentation is very clearly worded so that if I need to look something up in my manual it’s simple to find what I’m looking for.
Their technical support department is very helpful as well. During the first year of using the software I’d call in every so often with a question. My questions were always answered completely and immediately. However, the software is very easy to use and I haven’t had to even call technical support for quite some time now.
There are a lot of good areas in the software but the features that I like the most are the driver information tool and the driver revenue tool, which I’m using more and more every day. The driver information tool is great about reminding me when one of our drivers needs a DOT physical, and the driver revenue tool helps me see how much revenue each driver is generating. We track by that, rather than by vehicle at our company.
We had looked at a number of Dispatch packages that were priced out of our range before we found this one. Prophesy had all of the tools and features that our company needed, and was priced within our reach. Despite this, I feel like we have plenty of room to grow within the software. It has a lot of advanced features that we will be able to really put to use as our business grows bigger. It meets our needs now and I can certainly see it meeting our needs in the future.
All and all I’d say this is a great product. I would, (and have) recommend Prophesy Dispatch with QuickBooks to other trucking companies.
