Great MRP for QuickBooks

Overall Rating:
[06/30/2005] Material resource planning is an important function for a manufacturing company. pc/MRP handles assemblies inventory, inventory locations, sales orders and purchasing, workorders and it all couples into QuickBooks where the money is handled. For my company this solution has worked perfectly.
The MRP system handles multiple users and acts as the input for all the business information. Customers, vendors, purchases and sales are entered once and passed to QuickBooks for accounting.
We have a lot of complex nested assemblies and thousands of parts. We sell systems that have options and accessories. Full access by production to inventory and parts lists by multi users is easy. Purchasing enters a part number and all the order information pops right up. Forecasts and usage creates requirements that are reported in purchasing reports that directly tell when to purchase an item (and accounts for lead times.
