How long will it take to setup eFAACT to work with my QuickBooks® file?
The eFAACT setup process ranges from 8 to 32 man-hours. The level of effort is dependant on your current business procedures. A customer site is considered average if they are currently recording all labor and expense transactions in QuickBooks® using the Job Cost features and have contract cumulative figures organized by contract.

What types of reports does eFAACT generate?
eFAACT reports cover a range of business areas some of which include: • Contract Funding: Funds provided, funds spent and funds available. • Task Management: Labor, expense and materials including incurred cost, burdened cost, invoiced amounts and budget variance. • Contract Profitability: Invoiced amounts compared with burdened incurred costs. • Vacation/Sick Accruals: Labor hours and cost accrued versus hours and costs actually incurred

How does eFAACT help my organization manage to its negotiated DCAA rates?
eFAACT projects year-end rates by integrating budget figures and actual period results. Expense and labor budgets are burdened for the full year to calculate your provisional (negotiated) rates. Each month, the incurred costs take precedence and overlay the budget figures for that month. Year end rates are projected using the mix of incurred and budget figures.

How does eFAACT help to reduce contract mischarges and cost overruns?
eFAACT includes eFAACT Web (online time and expense tracking). An employee's authorizations control the charge numbers displayed on their individual TimeCard. Authorization changes are real-time and are immediately reflected in the user's web-based TimeCard. eFAACT Web includes electronic signature for employees and supervisors. Entered once by the employee, labor hours make their way to payroll, invoices, management reporting and forecasts.
