Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

Very Happy with DonorPerfect

[03/03/2008] We have been using the DonorPerfect / QuickBooks interface for more than four years. In the days before the accounting module, our bookkeeper did twice the work, entering donor gifts into two databases. Once we were set up with DonorPerfect and QuickBooks, a few simple clicks made her work infinitely simpler. To be honest, it has become a feature we take for granted. Once it is set up, it needs almost no maintenance. Problems are rare. In all this time we have only had one issue with the interface and it was during an upgrade. The good news is that this problem was quickly resolved by the DonorPerfect Support Staff. I have always found the support to be outstanding.

[03/15/2004] DonorPerfect provides a simple and flexible solution for tracking donors and donations for non-profit organizations. We were able to customize screens and information to fit the needs of my organization and track specific information to my organization. Entering gifts and sending thank you letters is easy to do and easy to modify when using with Microsoft Word. DonorPerfect easily provides reports to us on how our fund raising is going on a month-to-month basis as well as providing donor reports for individuals, foundations, churches and businesses.
Our organization receives many donations from churches. Tracking information about these churches is critical to our work. DonorPerfect allowed us to put in several fields, which help categorize the churches in ways that are meaningful to our work. In addition, it allows us to track individuals and what churches they go to in our database, so we can see relationship between our organizations, our individual donors, and our church donors.
We coordinate our record keeping with our finance department. DonorPerfect allows us to share the same codes that the finance department uses. This is a great help in producing check and balance reports on a monthly, yearly and audit basis.
The thank you process of converting gift information to thank you letters is simple and flexible to use. We can enter various gifts from different types of donors to different programs in our organization all at the same time and then produce separate thank you letters for each donor with specific gift information.
Having transferred data from another software company, DonorPerfect addressed all the issues involving the transfer including what could not be transferred. They were accommodating to our requests and worked through any challenges in the transfer and setup in a professional and timely manner. They address any problems we uncovered in the transfer process quickly.
I find DonorPerfect to be one of the most cost-effective and easy to use. It is a good value for the money, which is critical for non-profit organizations, especially small to mid-size ones.
DonorPerfect continues to add features, which can simplify tracking donations and donor records with each upgrade. They continue to add reports to their standard package and while you are probably not going to use every report, the standard list provides for a number of different scenarios like to monthly reporting, reporting by type of donor, reporting by general ledger code, for example. In addition, they provide a feature that allows the user to create their own reports or modify an existing report without having to know a programming language. Their support is very good at providing answers in a timely fashion. They are diligent in following up with requests, particularly on complicated problems that might not have a simple solution.
