E2 Software is Great

[05/21/2009] We have been extremely happy with the E2 software and how great it works with QuickBooks. We handle all of our shop floor documents with E2, then sync vendor and customer invoices with QuickBooks for accounting purposes. E2 also has very knowledgeable support for any questions that come up. Navigating between the two programs is seamless.

[05/14/2009] My experience with E2 has been a positive one. The installation and setup was simple. It works very well for our production, purchasing & inventory. We do not use it for accounting but it syncs up fine with our version of QuickBooks. If a problem or question arises the E2 tech support folks are quick to help. I would recommend this software for any manufacturer seeking shop control and data analysis.

E2 Shop System and QuickBooks - A great marriage

[05/14/2009] I currently use QuickBooks Pro 2009 and E2 Shop System in an aerospace manufacturing setting. Since purchasing Shop Tech software 4 years ago and applying it to our QuickBooks accounting system it has been trouble free from day one. The E2 Shop System delivers job information quickly and can be customized to fit our requirements. The Synchronization process in E2 is quick and without errors - Any SYN conflict will be listed in order for you to correct the issue as it happens (examples: new name, duplicate name etc). Start up in E2 was a breeze - QuickBooks supplied most of the information to enable us to begin using E2 without down time.

[05/14/2009] E2 has helped our company manage our labor costs. Time tracking on a job is quick to retrieve and can be seen in real time. Information about purchasing, labor costs, history is just a click away. E2 allow you to drill down to the lowest bit of information with just a click. When our company converted to E2, the tech support was very helpful and the whole process went smoothly.

[05/12/2009] Shoptech Systems MRP software, E2 has been a tremendous help in the growth of our company. It works well with Intuits accounting software, QuickBooks Enterprise Edition. The training personal are knowledgeable and affective. Implementation time was on par with other competitor’s MRP software. The E2 software has allowed our company to grow while minimizing the growing pains. It has facilitated the organization and traceability of the products that we manufacture. It also has shed more light on our costs thus helping our organization control and reduce our costs, while improving our profitability. I would recommend these two products (E2 and QuickBooks) to any small to midsize manufacturing operation.

[05/08/2009] When we first started using the E2 system, we all had some concerns about continuing to use QuickBooks for our financial statements. But, we quickly found that our concerns were unmerited. The syncing process between E2 and QuickBooks is extremely easy, quick and accurate. We had an E2 representative come out and help us link the two programs together. Once this was complete and the system was setup to fit our needs, we haven't had a problem with it since. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend it to anyone.

[05/04/2009] E-2 Shop System is great and the fact that it syncs right over to QuickBooks is even better. It's easy to use and provides an excellent way to track your company’s data. We especially like the time clock data collection and how easy it is to track job cost. It helps us to be sure that we're always on the profiting side of business. I would highly recommend this product.

[05/04/2009] We have been using E2 for over 4 years. It has been very helpful for several reasons.
E2 helped us become ISO 9001:2008 registered with its excellent quality module.
We have reduced lead times by using the job scheduling module.
We have reduced the amount of time it takes to do payroll. QuickBooks automatically imports time ticket data from our data collection on the shop floor.
E2's technical support has been second to none.

[05/04/2009] Advanced Ceramic Technology converted to E2 Shop System and QuickBooks over three and a half years ago. We have been very pleased with the seamless operation of the interface between the two applications. We are able to use E2 for the productivity side of the business and QuickBooks for the accounting side, with no duplication of effort. We have upgraded both products over the years and have appreciated the strong customer support from both Intuit and ShopTech. We use both E2 and QuickBooks daily and the interface between them at least two times per week. We rely on both products to help run our business smoothly and efficiently.

[06/13/2007] We have been a happy QuickBooks user for over 5 years and just recently purchased the E2 Shop System. We are thrilled with how well E2 and QuickBooks work together. We do all of our quoting and shop floor control in E2. E2 has a great real time integration with QuickBooks so everything just feeds into the QuickBooks automatically. As a shop owner, I am happy because my shop floor people are happy with E2 and my accounting lady was able to keep her QuickBooks. I would highly recommend both products to anyone looking for an integrated shop solution.

[11/29/2004] Admittedly, E2 was not my first choice for a shop control program because of the expense involved. However, I will now admit E2 has been well worth the expense because I am now convinced that you do get what you pay for. Unbelievably, E2 started paying for itself on the first day of implementation when we did a price break comparison for a customer, who in turn ordered a larger quantity upon seeing it!
The Implementation Guide states, "Disruption does happen...Nothing of value is EASY!" however, by converting your QuickBooks data for you - the effort is minimal to get it in place and up to speed. Besides converting your data for you - Shoptech continues to provide you with SUPERIOR service long after the "sale". The people at Shoptech want you to have the knowledge to use their software to its fullest potential and they take time answering your questions so that you will have that knowledge.
The outstanding customer service alone makes E2 worth the "extra" expense - let alone the knowledge of knowing you made the right choice when you see your profits rise by having the ability to effectively control your shop floor.

[09/01/2004] We have used the E2 Shop System with QuickBooks for over 3 years and we couldn’t be happier. Our business has grown over 40% each year since we began using E2 with QuickBooks. We only have to enter the information one time and it goes right from E2 into QuickBooks. Our shop people are happy because they get all the benefits of E2 and our accounting people are happy because they got to keep their QuickBooks.
From an owner’s viewpoint, I would recommend the E2 Shop System to any QuickBooks user looking for help with their shop floor. And the best thing about the whole deal is the Shoptech people has us up in running in no time since they imported our information from QuickBooks into E2.

The E2 people were able to bring over our QuickBooks data so we didn't have to re-enter anything. We were basically up and running inside of a few weeks. The integration between the two products is seamless. We would highly recommend the E2 Shop System to any shop looking for a great product with top notch customer service.

[03/29/2004] We have been a QuickBooks user for 5 years and it has done a fantastic job for our accounting. We had reached a point though where we needed something specific for our shop. After looking for about a year, we finally implemented E2 about 6 months ago. We couldn't be happier with the results. We use E2 for our quoting, costing and scheduling and the QuickBooks for our accounting and payroll.
We love the sync functionality in E2 because we are able to verify the information before it goes into QuickBooks. That was the main reason we selected E2, because without the sync, you could be sending garbage into the QuickBooks. And my mom is very particular about her accounting, she wants to see everything first.
Someday we may switch over to the E2 accounting, but for now the E2 and QuickBooks is working great!
