Customer Survey
The customer satisfaction surveys are web-based surveys sent to an IDN Developer's customer base. The survey is conducted and administered by an independent third party. Each survey consists of 32 questions about the company's product functionality, ease of use, technical service, and overall user experience.

[08/31/2007] Nice program, nice people. I was surprised to find out after purchase that to transfer the program to another computer requires that you contact the developer for a new activation code. I would hate that my order entry come to a standstill if my computer crashed and the developer vanished. I was informed that I could pay for another license for a different computer as a backup. Or, install another demo and have 15 days to contact the developer (assuming you have never installed it on that computer, in which case it cannot load the demo.) Seems a bit heavy handed on the anti piracy precaution at the customer's potential expense. Especially for a program that is so specific that it is unlikely to get passed around.

[06/22/2007] Our company has been using this software and hardware package for over a year with our QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions program. We have found it to be a tremendous asset to our Point of Sale process in our retail store, making sales more precise and efficient. We would recommend it to anyone using their QuickBooks product directly as a Point of Sale program as well as their accounting program.

[06/19/2007] We used the software to implement bar code scanning in our retail checkout process. It greatly speeds the process as we had many many items one needed to know item ids for. Now it's quick! Software very robust and company support exemplary. We are an aviation flight school and have many books and accessories in our pilot shop. We also have 25 airplanes and a similar number of instructors. The plane and the instructors various forms of instruction also carry unique bar codes.

[03/31/2004] I've used Smart Scan for about 2 1/2 years, and I'm extremely happy. The software is small, unobtrusive, and does exactly what it says.
With Smart Scan I was able to implement a barcode system in my retail store very effectively on a very tight budget.
Also, the support they provide is EXCELLENT--every single time I've called, a real person with straightforward answers is there when needed. Thanks Mark!
